MISSION
The
Mission of the Maryland Computer Services Association is to help Maryland policymakers better understand the nature of the information economy and the types of public policies needed to drive job growth and prosperity for all citizens of Maryland.
HISTORY
Created in response to Maryland’s Tax
Reform Act of 2007, our first order of business was the
full repeal of Maryland's Computer Services sales tax.
Success arrived on April 8, 2008, when Governor O'Malley signed SB46, repealing the Computer Services Tax.

WHAT WE DO
The Maryland Computer Services Association is a statewide association of IT professionals dedicated to lobbying on behalf of Maryland’s computer services industry.
We employ top professional lobbyists and strategists, grassroots tacticians, and our own members’ energy, entrepreneurship and technical prowess to advocate for our industry’s interests.
We work closely with technology councils, associations, and government agencies, leveraging our collective resources for the good of Maryland’s computer services industry.
